About this journey
The drive from central Paris to the Channel Tunnel at Calais usually takes around three hours. After that comes the 35-minute Eurotunnel LeShuttle crossing to Folkestone, with your pet in the car beside you.
Eurostar does not accept pets other than assistance dogs, so a private car is one of the simplest ways to travel from Paris to the UK with a dog or cat. This route is for owners whose final address is in or near Folkestone, or who plan to continue from Kent themselves.
